It is so important for a licensed real estate agent to know about the geography, communities, opportunities, recreation, growth, everything about our area. That breadth of information is how we put knowledge, ideas and compassion together to get the best results for our clients.
During my career I have lived I many places from upstate New York to Connecticut to Georgia, and back to New York State. I know firsthand how exciting, and how challenging, it can be to learn a new area of the country and simultaneously find or build your new home.
I have been through these search processes, found existing homes and created ideas for new construction homes and horse farms. It is very rewarding to see the ideas for new construction come together and be created. I have then sold these houses and farms as I moved on to the next chapter.
My over 30 years here in the Capital District, Saratoga Springs, Washington County, and more have given me a clear and thoughtful understanding about what is special and important about our great area.
Now, I am here to help you with your home, whether it is finding an existing home for you, helping you transform your ideas for new construction, finding the land for your house or your horse farm, or helping you sell your current home as you move forward.
My mission is to listen very carefully to your needs, wants, ideas and help you translate all of those to become reality for you. I aim to help you enjoy the process of discovering your new home, and have a stress free real estate experience.

I have bought two houses through her and cannot recommend her high enough. She found the homes with all the features I wanted, the right price, and basically did all the paperwork needed. Believe or not, she even answers her own telephone no matter what time or day. There is no question I would use her again.
Susan was an absolute gift. We moved from to New York from out of state and had very limited trips to the area but Susan’s expertise, honesty, communication, and knowledge helped us find the perfect home and navigate the closing process.
Malta, NY occupies the sweet spot in New York State’s Tech Valley. It is located midway between major metropolitan areas like New York City, Boston, Montreal and Buffalo. More regionally, Malta is close to Saratoga Springs and only 20 miles north of the State’s capital, Albany, NY.
Malta retains its small town character while carefully planning for the future. The Luther Forest Technology Campus houses Saratoga County’s largest employer, Global Foundries. Global Foundries manufactures integrated circuits for all the major semiconductor companies world-wide. Nearby at SUNY Albany, nanotechnology reigns as the university is home to a sprawling complex of research, manufacturing and educational initiatives. The university partners with leading edge tech companies such as Global Foundries, Samsung and Applied Materials. More traditional companies have found a home in Malta as well. State Farm, Stewarts Ice Cream Company and Racemark International all have headquarters here.
Residents here in Malta appreciate the town’s parks and hiking trails, easy access to all Saratoga Springs has to offer while enjoying one of the lowest tax rates in the State.
Halfmoon, NY is an area rich in history. It was originally formed as part of Albany County but is now one of Saratoga County's southern-most towns. It is sandwiched in between the more populous Clifton Park to the west and the Town of Malta to the north. The Hudson and Mohawk rivers form the other two boundaries.
The famous Erie Canal was constructed along the south part of Halfmoon. It was settled by Dutch traders and homesteaders who migrated from Albany. The land was purchased by the Van Schaick family, an old Dutch name you will see occasionally on signs in the area.
Location, Location, Location
Halfmoon is ideally situated for an easy commute to any of the region's major employers: GE, Global Foundries, Knolls, State Government. Interstate 87, the Adirondack Northway, is the major north-south artery in the area. It connects Halfmoon to Albany and New York City to the south and Saratoga and the Canadian border to the north. Route 9 is the commercial equivalent to I-87 and is where you will find shopping, sports, dining and a host of activities. From Halfmoon, you are no more than 30 minutes from any location in the Capital District.
Back in the days of Victorian living Ballston was a very desired location for those wonderful, peaceful and fun summer homes and the water recreation activities that the lake itself provided. Well, it is still an attractive and inviting area!
Many of those lovely and historic summer homes have been renovated and updated, and they have kept their charm and character. Adding to these historic homes are so many other choices and even new construction opportunities.
Single family, town homes, condos – the choice is yours. After you decide on your home you can then see how close to everything the beautiful and historic community of Round Lake really is. A short commute to Albany, the Global Foundries Chip plant just up the road in Malta, extensive medical facilities just a few miles away; convenience indeed.
And recreation and enjoyment – SPAC, restaurants, Saratoga Springs and the thoroughbred track, skiing just up the Northway, your choice for sure.
